Kryolan's TV Paint Sticks are professionally used for TV, film and stage work and have been popular for quite a while in Asian countries like Pakistan and India.
I first came to know about these when I visited Pakistan a few years ago and decided to pick some up for myself. When I came back I really regretted not bringing a whole load over! Luckily, my mum visits Pakistan on a regular basis so I made her grab a bunch of different shades for me! They are so cheap (around £13) and last a VERY LONG time!
These are cream based in a stick form and have medium to heavy coverage. These colours can be mixed to get the correct shade for you. These can be applied on it's own or even mixed with a liquid foundation. Application would be easier with a flat top kabuki brush or a damp sponge/beauty blender.
Here are some of the shades I have for a mixture of skin tones:
These are my mostly used shades for Asian skin tones. |
In shades: FS45, FS38, IVORY, F1, ORIENTAL & 303.
Some of you may be wonder what this orange shade is about. Well, this is shade number 303 and is part of Kryolan's Color Corrector range. As you can see this has been used quite an awful lot. This bright orange shade helps cancel out darkness like blemishes and under eye circles. For the price and the amount you get, you cannot go wrong! The best way to apply this would be is by just dabbing the product onto the areas with your fingers as the warmth of your fingers will help make the application smooth.
I definitely reccomend these foundation sticks. I use these on clients myself regularly even as a concealer. These are amaaaazing for highlighting and contouring too! But there will soon be seperate post on contouring/highlight very soon!
You can buy these from the link below! Maybe try Ebay and the Kryolan Official Site too!
